FROM THE VASTLAND REVEALS NEW ALBUM “SERVANT OF AHRIMAN”
Forged in darkness and inspired by ancient tales, From The Vastland is proud to unveil its next full-length album, “Servant of Ahriman”, scheduled for release on 11 September 2026 via The Crawling Chaos (GER).
Today, we reveal the album’s cover artwork, title, track list, and official release date, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the band’s journey through the realms of black metal and ancient Persian mythology.
“Servant of Ahriman” is a concept album based on the legendary tale of Zahhak, one of the darkest and most infamous figures in Persian mythology. Through eight chapters of darkness, the album follows the rise of a ruler corrupted by evil, exploring themes of deception, tyranny, suffering, and fate.
Blending fierce black metal aggression with atmospheric depth and epic storytelling, the album continues From The Vastland’s dedication to bringing the myths and legends of ancient Persia into the world of extreme metal.
We look forward to sharing more details, music, and insights into the story behind “Servant of Ahriman” as the release date approaches.
Until then, behold the cover artwork and track list of “Servant of Ahriman”.
Stay close. More soon.
